Empower
The EMPOWER After School Program at Sheffield Academy—developed by NFL veterans Braxton Miller and DeVier Posey—is a free initiative running Monday through Friday from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. It blends academic support with physical activity to help youth build the character and practical tools necessary for success in a structured, supportive environment. Activities: Tutoring, homework assistance, physical exercise, eSports, and Social Emotional Learning. Core Skills: Self-management, collaboration, communication, and critical thinking. Nutritious meals are served daily, with free breakfast and lunch available to all enrolled students.
